We support the organization through the delivery of automation solutions (RPI), using existing, new and emerging technologies to enhance savings, improve productivity and quality and reduce cost.

The QA Lead / UAT Coordinator will work with automation team Business Analysts, Business Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and IT professionals to help ensure products are tested and delivered having met the highest quality testing standards available in the organization. This position serves as coordinator for all user acceptance testing activities on a project. In this highly visible role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in building and establishing our policies, standards and procedures for the User Acceptance Testing cycle.

This role coordinate testing activities between QA (Offshore) and Business UAT users (Onsite-USA) and make sure we have smother quality functionality transition to Business UAT team for UAT test.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for multiple functional work areas on varying applications and platforms
  • Create test data in test environment for various test
  • Perform Integration test and End-to-End test and make sure good quality functionally to turnover to business UAT users for UAT test
  • Effectively analyze and decompose business requirements into testable components
  • Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, while meeting all project-related deadlines
  • Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ
  • Work with business partners, systems analyst, designers and programmers to create / analyze required project documents and ensures that quality assurance processes are incorporated
  • Work closely with the Project Team to identify risks and UAT scope early in the project lifecycle
  • Build positive professional relationships with internal and external customers
  • Develop and manage UAT Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenario and Test Summary documentation
  • Review UAT scenarios / Test cases with Business users and SMES and make we have good test coverage
  • Ensure resource requirements are met for testing environments, UAT cycles and related components required to support adequate test execution
  • Execute tests within Web-based, Windows-based, and/or mainframe applications and environments
  • Log, track, and manage defects to closure
  • Monitor, measure and communicate test results
  • Create, prepare, and obtain sign-off for UAT documentation
  • Champion and apply a risk-based testing approach
  • Provide input to, or participate in, process improvement initiatives around testing
  • Apply situational leadership by making effective and efficient testing decisions on behalf of the project
  • Participate in end-to-end testing cycles across multiple business segments
  • Participate in Business Partner testing cycles with external customers
  • Be a good team player and be able interactive effectively across the business partners
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).   • Grade 23 L2 and above can only apply
  • Grade 23 L2 will move to Grade 24
  • Grade 24 L1 & L2 will move to Grade 24
  • Minimum of 18 months of service in their current position
  • Performance rating in the last common review of Meets Expectations or higher
  • Not on any active CAP or active disciplinary action
  • Based on the eligibility of grade and level the movement will happen accordingly

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
  • QA / UAT testing experience for enterprise-level applications, including developing and implementing effective test plans and test cases within the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience using test management tools such as Application Lifecycle Management and CA Rally
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) at both an individual and team level
  • Ability to work independently on projects, where tasks are self-determined and not specifically assigned
  • Ability to work as per USA overlaps time until 12 pm (CST) from Monday to Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Agile / Scrum work environment
  • Previous experience work with Automation projects
  • Previous experience in the Health Insurance industry, ICUE, CI, BH, CSOT and Claims
  • Experience in business analysis and / or project management
  • Extensive experience in QA and UAT testing
  • Experience working with offshore / remote teams
