The Talent Acquisition Director (India) is a strategic role for the People Organization in Micron. Reporting into the Regional Head of Talent Acquisition (South Asia), you will be responsible for setting direction, delivering and executing recruiting strategies to attract and recruit top, diverse talent for our Global Development Center. The scope of this role includes: talent branding and sourcing, selection and offers as well as talent pipelining for lateral recruitment and university relations. This role will be based in India, Hyderabad. This role requires excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with and influence all levels across the organization. As a senior People leader, you will a key Talent partner to site leadership. You will provide external thought leadership and engage key partners externally to promote Micron as the Best Place to Work for top, diverse talents. As the ideal candidate, you can achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You are proactive and have a solid team ethic and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. You coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and lead multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. The responsibilities: Develop and execute regional strategies that identify and acquire diverse top talent enabling Micron business growth, vision and mission. Build and develop a high performing and engaged team that effectively crafts, implements and delivers the hiring to headcount plans Lead global Diversity and Inclusion recruiting strategies, partnering with the D&I team and global TA regional leaders. Partner with business executives, leaders, and all areas of the People functions to understand business needs, grow talent pipelines, and source for key positions within the company in the present, and in the future Ensure performance metrics are aligned with objectives, utilized strategically, and communicated effectively Qualifications: Consistent track record leading talent acquisition, recruiting strategy, process and execution, preferably in a mid to large organization with at least 1000 and a global environment Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills which maintain high performance and develop future talent Experience building rapport and interacting with key stakeholders and internal and external partners Data driven capability – ability to use appropriate metrics that influence and drive decisions Proven track record to improve efficiency, scalability and customer experience Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment requiring innovation and adapting to a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment Preferred Skills: Previous experience in a global technology firm, preferably in VLSI, storage or memory Experience in college recruiting, intern programs and university relations Experience with talent hunt for niche technical recruiting including in house sourcing and selection and third party vendor management Innovative, goal-oriented, and a collaborative colleague About Us As the leader in innovative memory solutions, Micron is helping the world make sense of data by delivering technology that is transforming how the world uses information.
